Effective: 7 September 2026
This policy describes what data Namingo ("we", "us", "the site") collects when you use namingo.io, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We try to keep it readable. If anything is unclear, write to us at the address in the Contact page.
Generator inputs (industry, tone, optional keyword) are processed in your browser. They are sent to our backend only when you explicitly click "Check availability" for a generated name. The availability check forwards the name you chose to our third-party availability endpoint (Pipedream) and to the domain/handle registries we query. We do not store the names you generate on our servers.
We use a small set of cookies and localStorage entries to remember your language choice, generator settings, and cookie-consent decision. None of these are used to track you across other sites. If you accept advertising cookies, our ad partner (Google AdSense, when enabled) may set additional cookies for frequency capping and ad personalization. You can read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Namingo uses the following third parties: Pipedream (availability-check workflow), Google Fonts (typography, only when you opt in), and Google AdSense (advertising, only when enabled and only after you accept advertising cookies). Each provider has its own privacy policy governing the data it receives.
We don't require an account. We don't sell or rent your data. We don't build advertising profiles from your generator usage. We don't share the names you generate with anyone except the specific availability registries you asked us to check.
If you're in the EU, UK, California, or a region with similar privacy laws, you have the right to request a copy of any data we hold about you and to ask us to delete it. We hold very little, but the request channel is the email address on our Contact page. We respond within 30 days.
Namingo is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the site, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top and, for significant changes, surface a notice on the home page. The current version always lives at namingo.io/privacy.html.
Questions, concerns, or data requests: see our Contact page. We read every message.
